These materials are designed to encourage students to engage with this complex topic. They can be used both in subject lessons and in interdisciplinary contexts, for example during a project week. In many countries of the global South, farm animals are an important source of income and the coexistence of humans and animals is culturally deeply rooted. However, especially against the backdrop of climate change, it is important to rethink the consumption and nutritional behaviour of the Global North and discover ways to change this.
