Based on our own biographies, the first step is to experience and reflect on everyday normality concepts of growth and possessions and their effectiveness.
In a further step, the idea of sufficiency (= healthy measure) and impulses for new normality concepts are presented and developed further together.

"Times are changing." Not only the processes of change in the environment and society, but also the processes of change in our parishes are currently challenging us to adapt to profound change. This can be frightening.
We want to encourage people not only to accept the necessary change processes, but also to play an active role in shaping them. Our faith, the Bible and the encyclical Laudato Si can provide us with clear and reliable guidance.

Since industrialisation at the latest, we have all grown up with ideas of growth that are difficult to free ourselves from. They not only prevent us as individuals from leading a more sustainable life, but also prevent change at a political and social level.

In this crisis-ridden world, do you ever ask yourself the question: What exactly is "fair"? After an impulse and exchange on this question, we work with the congregation to develop small and clear steps in a practical way - be it with fair coffee or other procurement, energy and buildings, finances or in liturgy and catechesis.
These steps are developed together in a way that is suitable for the respective congregation.
The important thing is not to make the steps as big as possible, but to make them suitable for the congregation.

Solidarity beyond the borders of one's own community or even one's own country is increasingly being scrutinised and questioned.
Jesus' example and Christian charity, however, provide a completely different guideline. As a community, we want to look at historical developments, global solidarity, the role of the church, Christian ethics and human rights, as well as the ambivalences of the topic in the context of colonialism, power structures and "aid" vs. partnership. Concrete examples from church development co-operation make the topic understandable and tangible in a very practical way.

The workshop raises awareness of the urgency of the climate crisis, sheds light on our Christian responsibility for the integrity of creation and highlights concrete options for action for communities and individuals. Examples from practice and from congregations that have already set out on this path will also be discussed and encouraged.
