Your training at Misereor
We are looking for committed people who are interested in a varied and challenging apprenticeship. Right from the start, you will be actively involved in our work processes and gradually take on your own tasks and responsibilities. The training centre is our office in Aachen.
During your training, you will work in various organisational and commercial administrative areas. You will familiarise yourself with the following Misereor departments:
- Organisation, IT and environmental management
- Finance and accounting
- Partnerships and donor contacts
- Human Resources
- Marketing and Communication
- one of our continental departments (Africa and Middle East, Latin America or Asia and Oceania).
This will give you a comprehensive insight into the work of an international organisation.

The Misereor office is located in Aachen. Around 370 people work there. Our office management clerks attend the Paul-Julius-Reuter vocational college in Aachen as part of the dual training system. There are corresponding classes there, which spread the teaching content over two to three years, depending on the duration of the training.
During your training, you will work in different areas. You will familiarise yourself with the following Misereor departments:
