We support our partner organisations in planning and evaluating changes in an impact-oriented manner. In doing so, we develop a shared understanding of what should improve for people. It is important for us to engage in a dialogue about objectives and expectations as early as the planning phase.
Our partner organisations regularly report on the results of their work. We learn more about this through evaluations. We can look back on a long practice of evaluation and a tradition of fundamental engagement with evaluations. In doing so, we are guided by guidelines that decisively characterise the quality and handling of evaluations.
We work with independent partner organisations and value them as equals. Together, we want to improve the living conditions of people living in poverty in our projects. Evaluations play a very important role as an instrument for project monitoring and success control. By reflecting on successes and difficulties, we learn together with the partner organisations and continue to develop. The involvement of partner organisations and target groups in the evaluation process is very important to us.
