We can do something, we can share and help others! The material folder offers you educational building blocks on the topics of basic foodstuffs and children's rights. You will also find songs, games, recipes, child-friendly information on Misereor projects and the countries as well as all the information on the fundraising campaign, various church service suggestions and much more. For the children there is a free Pixi booklet "Leo, Louise and a loaf of bread for all", with which the topic of sharing can also be deepened in the family. Ring binder. 124 pages. 1. development of the topic in the daycare centre

Using educational building blocks, recipes, games and other ideas, you can take children in the daycare centre on a journey around the world. They learn about life in other countries and that not everyone has the daily bread to live on. But also: We children have rights! We can do something, we can share and help others!

2nd fundraising campaign for Misereor projects

The children then start creative baking activities and make their favourite muffins or small loaves of bread, for example. Or take the children to the local bakery!

They then sell these baked goods in return for a donation - in the neighbourhood, on the market square, at a local company, at the daycare centre festival, etc. People in the neighbourhood will see that many children are willing to help and get involved for people in need.

3. the joint day-care centre festival

Celebrate what you have experienced together and what the children have learnt with a party! Here the children present songs, stories and games from all over the world, celebrate a devotion or a church service together - and of course present the home-baked Solibrot! Invite the parents and others who are close to the children to your daycare centre.

If your daycare centre is part of a larger network or is well connected with other facilities in your city, the Solibrot drum tour is an additional offer. The event with Markus Hoffmeister is thematically coordinated with the campaign and leads to a highlight. Please contact us for more information!

The daycare centre children also deal intensively with children's rights and learn about their rights.

All children have a right to a home. What does my home look like?

Where is Cambodia actually located? It's not so easy to find the country on the globe. The Misereor project in Cambodia supports children with disabilities.

Thinking outside the box: How do children live in other countries? What games do they like to play? How do they say hello!

"Unterm Himmelszelt leben Kinder einer Welt" is the motto song of the campaign.

The songs of the campaign can be accompanied by instruments. The sheet music for the songs is also available.

Final preparations in the team: Everything about the fundraising campaign can also be found in the campaign materials folder.

The daycare centre children bake their own sandwiches. They can also make bread rolls or waffles.

Bread rolls are also moulded together.

In some places there is even a shop! The campaign material is available free of charge from Misereor.

With these delicious sandwiches, people are happy to donate. The proceeds go to one of the Misereor projects that the children learnt about during the campaign.
