Donation projects in the Middle East: Misereor

Millions of people in the Middle East are threatened by war and terror. Natural disasters exacerbate this need. Together with its partners, Misereor provides medical and psychological care, school lessons and training as well as supplies of essential everyday goods.

Do you have a very personal connection to a country, region or city in the Middle East? Our selection of projects that you can donate to directly covers a broad regional spectrum. In addition, Misereor provides emergency aid in disaster situations, always focussing on long-term help for self-help.

Some issues are part of your life and you would like to stand up for these important causes all over the world. This is possible with us: we are currently bundling our commitment to women's rights and healthcare projects.

The German Central Institute for Social Issues (DZI) certifies Misereor’s responsible and efficient use of donations.

Misereor regularly reviews the quality of the projects with external experts. The annual evaluation report provides an overview of which projects have been assessed and analysed.

To the annual evaluation report

It can happen that more donations are received for a donation project than Misereor has authorised. Donation projects are examples of the work in the projects supported by Misereor worldwide. If the amount of donations received is higher than the sum that Misereor has agreed with the project organisers, we therefore credit the surplus to projects with a similar concept.

This means that your donations are channelled to where they are urgently needed.
