In order to effectively limit global resource consumption, we need new models of quality of life that do not focus on maximising consumption. “Great transformation”, systemic change, post-growth - these are concepts pursued by serious agents of development cooperation in a globalised world. They ask questions as to how we produce and consume, how we treat our environment and our fellow human beings.
Almanaque del Futuro
The Almanaque del Futuro is a communication platform that aims to tell about the projects, ideas and stories of people who are optimistic about the times ahead and are already on the way to a future worth living. They want to turn challenges into opportunities. The stories are mainly about people in the Andean region, which includes Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador and Colombia, as well as parts of Central America and Mexico.
