Every year, Carmen Nebel and her celebrity guests draw attention to people to whom we can give new hope at Christmas time in the fundraising gala "Die schönsten Weihnachts-Hits". In this year's charity gala, Nebel asked for donations in favour of the project work of Bread for the World and Misereor for the last time. The live programme focused on two hope projects from South Africa and Togo as examples.

Carmen Nebel was supported by celebrities from the worlds of music, entertainment
and sport in her commitment to the good deed: Prominent pop stars such as Andrea Berg, Mark Keller, Wincent Weiss and the band BossHoss created a Christmassy atmosphere. Well-known TV celebrities such as Matze Knop, Jens, Riewa, Susan Sideropoulos, Johann Lafer, Ronja Forscher, Maria Höfl-Riesch, Ingolf Lück, Jeanette Hain and football legend Paul Breitner answered callers' donations on the telephone hotline.

In total, the Gala 2024 raised over 3.2 million euros for the projects of Bread for the World and Misereor.

On the evening of the fundraising gala, over three million euros were raised - a result for which we would like to thank the donors, celebrities and everyone else involved.

Andrea Berg closed the show with her Christmas hit "Denn es ist Weihnachtszeit".

The gentlemen from The BossHoss perform the atmospheric Christmas song "It's Christmas again" in a version with a country music flavour.

Wincent Weiss swept the audience away with his single "Beste Zeit im Jahr".

Folk rock'n'roller Andreas Gabalier thrilled the audience with the song "Swing low, sweet chariot".

The actor Mark Keller, known as "Der Bergdoktor", is also a singer: he sang "It's the most wonderful time of the year".

British singer-songwriter Albert Hammond performed a song from his recently released Christmas album. A group of children supported him with dancing and singing during his performance.

British tenor Paul Potts and trumpeter Kevin Pabst performed the song "Oh Holy Night".

Ingolf Lück, Mark Keller and Ronja Forscher are happy with Carmen Nebel about the interim donation status.
