The problematic coal imports of German energy companies
Energy suppliers in Germany continue to use large quantities of hard coal from countries where the human rights situation in the mining areas is poor. They are now seeking dialogue with those affected locally. However, mine operators still do not have to fear any consequences.

Change of course 1.5°. Paths to a climate-friendly future
It is widely believed that the temperature limit agreed in the Paris Climate Agreement can only be achieved with technologies that will hopefully be available in the future. The brochure uses practical examples to show how we can already realise a world worth living in for everyone and not have to postpone the solution to the climate crisis until the future. Is it utopian to insist on a good life for all in the face of the climate crisis? Perhaps. But it is no less realistic than the utopia of endless growth on a finite planet. Numerous practical examples show how we can realise a sustainable world worth living in for everyone - from decentralised renewable energy generation and proven concepts for the sustainable use of forests to ideas for modern mobility and the ecological cultivation of our food. What they all have in common is that they show how we can live, work and do business well. Within the planetary boundaries. And in such a way that human rights and democracy no longer come under the wheels and millions of people live marginalised and in poverty.

Mobility for all: utilising opportunities - shaping the future
This paper takes a global look at the issue of mobility and calls for a change in favour of the poorest population groups in the Global South.
After all, a mobility transition is the core element of the global socio-ecological transformation that enables a good life for all while respecting our planetary boundaries. The positive effects of the mobility transition can be achieved in particular if mobility is designed to be accessible, respects human rights and effectively recognises the interactions within the climate crisis.

Fewer cars, more global justice: why we need to think about the mobility and raw materials transition together
The study analyses the automotive industry's consumption of raw materials and the impact on the environment and human rights. Conclusion: The expansion of electromobility is important, but the number of cars must also be significantly reduced and human rights and the environment must be better protected in the extraction of raw materials.
