The encyclical "Laudato si", published in 2015, is seen as one of the great texts of the 21st century. This applies to humanity, to the earth planet and to the Church. Pope Francis called the Amazon Synod a "daughter" of Laudato si. The much-noticed final document, attached here in German translation, passes on the recommendations of the Synod to Pope Francis. He will respond in a separate letter by spring 2020.
