by Bruce Clarke.
Bruce Clarke has designed the Lenten veil for 2027/2028 on behalf of Misereor. It is entitled ‘Journey into the Unknown’ and is inspired by the story of the Emmaus disciples. It addresses uncertainty and the search for direction – whilst at the same time offering a sign of hope: people can reach out to one another, dare to connect and find new paths together.
Display fabric made from recycled fibres, approx. 180 g/sq m. The material is flame-retardant and therefore complies with the safety regulations for public buildings in accordance with DIN B1.
Dimensions of the large ‘Hungertuch’: 284 x 200 cm. Dimensions of the motif: approx. 257 x 173 cm. The ‘Hungertuch’ was produced with a climate contribution.
