by Bruce Clarke.

Bruce Clarke has designed the Lenten veil for 2027/2028 on behalf of Misereor. It is entitled ‘Journey into the Unknown’ and is inspired by the story of the Emmaus disciples. It addresses uncertainty and the search for direction – whilst at the same time offering a sign of hope: people can reach out to one another, dare to connect and find new paths together.

Display fabric made from recycled fibres, approx. 180 g/sq m. The material is flame-retardant and therefore complies with the safety regulations for public buildings in accordance with DIN B1.

Dimensions of the large ‘Hungertuch’: 284 x 200 cm. Dimensions of the motif: approx. 257 x 173 cm. The ‘Hungertuch’ was produced with a climate contribution.

In lyrical works and factual texts, reports and essays, 35 short contributions, observations, facts and ideas provide food for thought for discussions in groups, circles and courses. Format DIN A4. 104 pages.
