Misereor's health work with a focus on primary health care
The orientation framework explains the topic of health in the context of international policy and development cooperation as well as the various components of a health system. In addition, current topics from the health sector and in connection with other sectors (such as nutrition or climate change) are presented, which can be promoted by Misereor as measures.

Effective cooperation
Since the mid-1980s, 75 per cent of armed conflicts in the world have been ended through negotiation. Mediation has proven to be a flexible and effective instrument that promotes a context in which development is possible. Much has been achieved - and there are interesting opportunities for further development, which Misereor and its partner organisations in the countries of the South want to continue to address.

Research in the literature database of the Misereor library
Would you like to find out more, or are you conducting research for a dissertation or final-year project?
The Misereor Library is an in-house specialist library focusing on development cooperation and development policy, with a particular emphasis on the Church’s development work; however, it is open to external users by prior appointment.
The library’s collection can be searched via the online catalogue. Books cannot be borrowed and there is no photocopying service available.
