by Bruce Clarke.

Bruce Clarke has designed the Lenten veil for 2027/2028 on behalf of Misereor. It is entitled ‘Journey into the Unknown’ and is inspired by the story of the Emmaus disciples. It addresses uncertainty and the search for direction – whilst at the same time offering a sign of hope: people can reach out to one another, dare to connect and find new paths together.

Display fabric made from recycled fibres, approx. 180 g/sq m. The material is flame-retardant and therefore complies with the safety regulations for public buildings in accordance with DIN B1.

Dimensions of the large ‘Hungertuch’: 284 x 200 cm. Dimensions of the motif: approx. 257 x 173 cm. The ‘Hungertuch’ was produced with a climate contribution.

The educational poster teaches pupils about the forms of violence that exist in their everyday lives, what they should not put up with and what rights they have. In all countries around the world, children take on a variety of jobs, for example in the family or in the family business. But where is the line between normal cooperation and exploitative child labour? Pupils learn about different forms of child labour.
