Misereor partner schools
A partnership with Misereor means that pupils work together with parents, teachers and the school management for a fairer world. Misereor partner schools incorporate ideas from Misereor into their lessons and regularly organise solidarity campaigns. Misereor provides support both in terms of content and organisation in the execution and implementation of campaigns.
Through a school partnership, the school community makes its commitment to a better world visible.
Three steps to becoming a Misereor partner school:
- Your school community decides in favour of a partnership, we would be happy to come to your school as part of the decision-making process and introduce Misereor.
- Your school community chooses a specific donation project for which it will organise a solidarity campaign during the school year.
- After a joint kick-off, Misereor and your school make the joint partnership visible: in the school and on the respective websites.
We at Misereor
regularly support you with campaign ideas and educational materials for sustainable development (ESD). At the start of each school year, we send out Misereor starter kits for new pupils. Every two years, we invite teachers to a partner school conference, which focuses on networking and the exchange of best practice as well as on current issues in development cooperation.
