We will take the following five steps together on the path towards a school partnership.
1. Your school management and school council decide to enter into a partnership
2. Your school plans and implements the five criteria
3. Misereor reviews the application and makes a decision
4. A joint kick-off event is held
5. Following an in-school training session for teachers on Misereor and Education for Sustainable Development, your school begins the partnership

Here at Misereor, we regularly support you with ideas for activities and educational resources on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). At the start of each school year, we send out Misereor starter kits for new pupils. Every two years, we invite teachers to a partner school conference, which focuses not only on networking but also on exploring current issues in development cooperation. In addition, we visit your school once a year, and you’ll receive regular best-practice suggestions from the partner school network.
