Are you interested in global justice, sustainability, the SDGs and human rights? Would you like to understand even more connections and how you can take action with other people?
In the qualification course on development policy engagement, you can delve deeper into development policy issues with the support of experts from Misereor and project partners from the Global South.
What is it about?
The qualification course comprises two weekends and a specific practical development policy assignment. The dates for this are arranged individually, but do not take place on the seminar weekends.
On the qualification course you will receive
- a basic introduction to the theory and practice of development engagement and education for sustainable development (ESD)
- Expertise and methodology for working with topics on which our Misereor project partners work (e.g. climate justice, food systems, human rights, etc.)
- the opportunity to develop your own ideas and implement them with our help
- Insight into the work of development cooperation and a large German NGO
- Networking with other interested parties and Misereor.
At the end of the qualification course we issue a certificate. The prerequisite for this is participation in both weekends, active involvement in the practical units during the weekends and at least one specific assignment in a development policy context at/with Misereor.
