Since 1986, pilgrimage groups have been travelling with the Misereor hunger cloth to connect the opening location of the last Lenten campaign with the new opening location. This year, too, we are going on pilgrimage together - with the hunger cloth designed by the artist Konstanze Trommer, which bears the title "Dreaming together - let love be action".

The route takes us from Kirchähr to Hofheim. On the way, we will pray and sing, talk to each other and share the message of the hunger cloth, the pilgrimage and the Misereor Lent campaign with the people we meet. The motto of this campaign is "The future starts here" and focuses on our partner country Cameroon. In this way, we want to draw attention to the concerns of people in the Global South and set a living example of solidarity and faith.

The festive conclusion will be the opening service of the Misereor Lent campaign in the church of St Peter & Paul in Hofheim am Taunus.
